Diver Smart Alberta is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing diver safety and public awareness across Alberta. Our mission is to educate recreational and occupational divers, as well as potential employers and the general public, about the risks and responsibilities associated with underwater activities. 

We'll  provide safety resources, education, and advocacy, our goal is to reduce and prevent diving incidents and promote a culture of responsible and informed diving practices.

To be Alberta's trusted hub for community and recreational divers awareness and safety insights, connecting the public, recreational divers, commercial divers and industry professionals with accurate information, guidance, and real world insights into all types of diving. 

Dive Smart Alberta exists to educate and inform the public and diving community about the differences between recreational, technical, occupational and commercial diving. Through case studies, expert recommendations, and safety resources, we help recreational divers make smart choices, promote responsible diving practices, and support the safe and proper hiring of qualified occupational /commercial divers
